This memorial page is dedicated to remembering our beloved friend, colleague and mentor, Senior Research Fellow Dr. Therese A De Vet. Therese passed away on 07 February 2017. She is survived by her husband, children and grandchildren. Therese obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Southern  California in 1997.
 

Therese was a visiting member of the Nanyang Technological University – University Scholars Programme (NTU-USP). She has been teaching the Fables, Folklore, and Literature as well as the Schooling and Culture classes with the NTU-USP since 2014.
 

As a faculty member, Therese has been inspiring and supportive towards all those who have crossed path with her. Her colleagues and peers will always remember her as a brilliant scholar and a sincere friend.
 

Her passing is a great loss to the programme and will leave a void in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
